And they are far more dramatic and unique than standard portraits. Don't be shy. This is not fashion photography. You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to be skinny as a rail. You do not need to have training or fancy clothes. All you really need is the ability to make yourself presentable, have a little flare, want to have some fun while having your picture taken. I am also willing to take traditional portraits if that is what you wish. * Free photography is limited to people within 30 miles of Hillsdale, Michigan as determined by MSN maps. Not everyone qualifies for free photography. It depends on the subject and my needs. An offer free photography will be made at the time of the session if you fit what I am looking for. That is why I offer pet portraits as well. Depending on the animal, the photography can be done inside or outside. Sessions last as long as the pet is willing to participate or the agreed upon length of the session and can have many different results depending on the pet itself. Why not immortalize your furry, feathered, or even scaled friend with a pet portrait. You can even be in the photo with your pet. Why settle for a simple snapshot when you can have a professional take photos to immortalize your best friend. They can be barns, commercial buildings, wooded private land, empty warehouses or offices, nice houses, just about anywhere. Lifestyle portraits, also known as slice-of-life, creative or candid portraits, are not your
static sit-and-pose type of portraits. Lifestyle portraits have the
subject interacting with their environment, whether it is parents
interacting with their children, someone out walking their dog, a hobbyist
demonstrating his/her passion, or folks just relaxing on the back deck.
They are moments in time, slices of life that quickly pass away. The
portraits are artistic in nature and capture the real you, not just how you got
dressed up for a couple of hours to sit in front of a gray background. They are timeless and make for a much lovelier display
than a "mall studio" portrait. Lifestyle Portraits are dynamic.
We
all love our pets. They are every bit as much a part of the family as many
of our relatives, sometimes even more. They are fun, friendly, funny,
cute, fuzzy and heartwarming. They are loyal. They bring out that which is
best in ourselves.
